About the Job:
As a Community Health Worker with Interior Health, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting clients' independence and ability to stay at home. Your role will involve providing home support services, assisting with personal care and daily living, while promoting maximum independence. You will be a key player in the home health care plan for each client.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home by performing household duties

Prepare meals in accordance with designated plans

Assist with mobility and transfers

Observe and report changes in client behavior and condition

Perform delegated tasks according to training and procedures

This is a casual opportunity, meaning hours are not guaranteed and may vary. Casual employees are eligible to apply for internal postings, including permanent and temporary positions. Interior Health offers many opportunities for casual employees to transition to regular employment.

About this role:

This role will involve working in the Castlegar area, providing support to clients in their homes. You will work closely with a team of nurses and LPNs to provide comprehensive care to clients.
