Azure Databricks Developer

Astra North Infoteck Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Azure Databricks Developer to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data ingestion pipelines from multiple sources using Azure Data bricks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable and re-usable frameworks for ingesting of data sets
  • Integrate the end-to-end data pipeline to take data from source systems to target data repositories, ensuring the quality and consistency of data is maintained at all times
  • Work with event-based/streaming technologies to ingest and process data
  • Collaborate with software development teams, product managers, and business owners to ensure smooth deployment and operation of systems
  • Build and maintain highly available systems on Kubernetes in the cloud
  • Manage code releases, updates, and related processes
  • Define and evolve DevOps best practices within the team
  • Automate tools to monitor system health and reliability to support business process requirements
Requirements:
  • 6-8 years of experience in data engineering and Azure Databricks
  • Strong understanding of data ingestion, processing, and storage
  • Experience with event-based/streaming technologies
  • Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and services
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
