Job Title: Azure Databricks Developer

Astra North Infoteck Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Azure Databricks Developer to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data ingestion pipelines from multiple sources using Azure Data bricks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable and re-usable frameworks for ingesting data sets
  • Integrate end-to-end data pipelines to ensure data quality and consistency
  • Work with event-based and streaming technologies to ingest and process data
  • Collaborate with project teams to support delivery of additional project components
  • Evaluate performance and applicability of multiple tools against customer requirements
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform
  • Build and maintain highly available systems on Kubernetes in the cloud
  • Manage code releases, updates, and related processes
  • Define and evolve DevOps best practices within the team
  • Collaborate with software development teams, product managers, and business owners to ensure smooth deployment and operation of systems
  • Build CI/CD pipeline configurations to orchestrate provisioning and deployment of systems
  • Automate tools to monitor system health and reliability
Requirements:
  • 6-8 years of experience in data engineering and Azure Databricks
  • Strong understanding of data ingestion, processing, and storage
  • Experience with event-based and streaming technologies
  • Knowledge of Terraform and Kubernetes
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
