Job Summary

This position is responsible for developing, procuring, and supporting production test systems for electronic assemblies at Kimball Electronics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and software development, with experience in designing electronic circuits and developing test programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop test procedures for production operators to test manufactured assemblies
  • Interface with test equipment suppliers to procure and implement production test systems
  • Design and develop production test systems, including electronic control and measurement circuits
  • Write and modify test programs using software development environments such as MS Visual Studio, NI LabView, or NI Labwindows/CVI
  • Work with other members of the KEJ organization on continuous improvement projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot electronic circuits
  • Knowledge of software development environments
  • Familiarity with electronic assembly manufacturing processes
