We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our Respiratory Services department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our respiratory therapy services.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and treat patients with a variety of respiratory conditions, including acute and chronic cardio-respiratory illnesses or pathologies.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance patient outcomes.
- Conduct ongoing respiratory care in a multi-disciplinary setting, utilizing evidence-based practices and current research.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in respiratory therapy.
- Graduation from a recognized Respiratory Therapy program.
- Current certification with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) and eligible for registration.
- Current valid BC Driver's License as required in the specific practice area.
