About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Painter to join our team at Corrcoat Services Inc. As a key member of our coatings team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of surface preparation and painting for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, including repairing cracks and holes.
  • Painting and Coating: Mix paint to desired color and texture, and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for each project.
  • Equipment and Machinery Operation: Operate brush painting and conventional spray painting equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Environment: Work outdoors and in confined spaces, with exposure to odors.
  • Work Setting: Work at various locations, including industrial sites.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Coatings and Painting Experience: Experience with fibreglassing and paint spraying.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel, with good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Tools and Equipment: Possess steel-toed safety boots and tools.
