We are seeking a well-rounded individual able to work in a fast-paced environment to join the Procurement team and coordinate with them at our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily activities of the truck parts purchasing functions, reviewing purchasing decisions, orders, and vendor contracts.
  • Assist with the ordering of materials and supplies from vendors, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement.
  • Interact with vendors to determine requirements for sourcing and collaborate with supplier & AP to resolve RMA & invoice discrepancies.
  • Act as an interface between relevant departments on purchasing processes and new projects.
  • Work with the Sales team to secure product for large quotes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Process requisitions and update inventory to ensure that stock is kept at appropriate levels, minimizing stockouts and overstocking.
  • Report and update weekly price increases, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Manage inventory and assist in the receipt of purchased materials and services, ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Track and communicate details pertaining to shipping, delivery, delays, and order status, maintaining open communication with stakeholders.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, product count variances, stock loss, quality control, and packing slips, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or College diploma in Business or Information Technology.
  • 1-3 years of procurement experience preferred, with direct experience in contract review and renewal, the P2P procurement life cycle.
  • Skilled at negotiating rates and service, with a strong ability to communicate with vendors and internal associates.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-stress situations calmly and effectively, with a proven track record of results.
  • Ability to actively manage multiple, concurrent projects, with strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Accountable for results, striving to meet and exceed expectations, with a self-starter mentality and good judgment.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a good command of MS Office (Excel and Word) and the ability to quickly learn new software.
