About the Role
The University Health Network is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join its team. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense medications according to established procedures and protocols.
- Replenish stock medication supplies and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Update and maintain patient information in the pharmacy computer system.
- Complete reports and documentation as required.
- Participate in staff training and educational functions.
- Perform workload measurement support functions.
Requirements
- Completion of a two-year community college Pharmacy Technician program or equivalent.
- Certification with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage competing priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to learn and troubleshoot changing technologies and machinery.
