Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Director to join our team at Dexterra Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily food service operations and franchise operations, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve food service operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff training.
  • Manage the financial aspects of food service operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure that they are providing excellent customer service and meeting the company's standards.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and implement new menu items and promotions.
  • Ensure that all food service operations are in compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Monitor and analyze financial and operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure that we are getting the best possible products and services.
  • Provide input on menu pricing and development to ensure that we are competitive in the market.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of marketing and promotional campaigns to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in food service operations, preferably in a franchise environment.
  • Proven track record of success in improving food service operations and increasing customer satisfaction.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze financial and operational data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
