Maintenance Planner/Scheduler Job Description

Roska DBO Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to join their team in Calgary. This 9-month contract position requires a Monday-Friday schedule with occasional travel to field sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead schedule review meetings to ensure efficient resource allocation and minimize downtime through work bundling.
  2. Optimize resource utilization through resource leveling and grouping work by location.
  3. Ensure all necessary materials are available before scheduling work.
  4. Collaborate with maintenance teams and planners to coordinate work orders.
Primary Functions:
  1. Coordinate schedule development with planners, maintenance, and operations teams.
  2. Utilize SAP PM Module and Prometheus Scheduler to create weekly and 7-day locked schedules.
  3. Communicate work details with maintenance technicians and planners.
  4. Lead Life Saving Rule verification and safety discussions in weekly meetings.
  5. Establish and maintain knowledge of external service providers.
  6. Focus on cost and value optimization in alignment with production strategies.
  7. Work with field leadership to prioritize activities.
  8. Identify and address SAP Master Data compliance issues.
  9. Provide input on PM Plan improvements.
  10. Work with Supply Chain personnel for material and vendor requirements.
Critical Skills:
  1. Experience in maintenance scheduling processes.
  2. Maintenance planning expertise.
  3. Experience with SAP PM & MM modules.
  4. Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  5. Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills.
  6. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Qualifications:
  1. 5+ years Oil &/or Gas experience.
  2. 3+ years Maintenance scheduling experience.

Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada without restrictions and are subject to background checks.
