Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team at Next Gen Daycare. As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our facility, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our children and staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Task Management: Organize and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient operation of the facility.
- Team Leadership: Train and supervise staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Reporting and Communication: Prepare and submit regular reports to management, providing updates on facility operations and any issues that may arise.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of equipment and facilities, performing routine maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Problem-Solving: Resolve work-related problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Coordination: Coordinate activities with other work units or departments, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Client Support: Provide ongoing support to clients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Scheduling and Procedures: Establish work schedules and procedures, ensuring that all staff members are aware of their responsibilities and expectations.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Skills: Efficient interpersonal skills, initiative, organized, reliability, team player, ability to multitask.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
- Commission: Eligible for commission based on performance.
- Employment Type: Permanent.
- Language: English.
- Hours of Work: 40 hours per week.
