We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at PUNJABI CHAAP CORNER.

About the Role:

As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department. This includes supervising and coordinating activities of staff who prepare and portion food, training staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Supervise and train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure they adhere to company policies.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain accurate records.
  • Hire and manage food service staff to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates for food and supplies.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to optimize inventory management.
  • Prepare and submit reports on department performance and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks such as standing for extended periods and lifting heavy objects.
Work Environment:

This is a permanent full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The successful candidate will be expected to work 35 hours per week in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this role is $50,000-$60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
