Produce Associate

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Produce Clerk to join our team at Longo's. As a key member of our produce department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring a high level of product quality, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Stock, merchandise, and create visually appealing displays of produce to meet customer needs and drive sales.
- Prepare produce for sale, including washing, cutting, and packaging.
- Maintain product quality by conducting regular date checks and rotating stock to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
- Follow all Food, Health, and Workplace Safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive and supportive attitude.
- Passion for working in the food industry and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Work Environment:
This role is performed in a store retail environment, with regular exposure to a variety of produce and other products. Must be available to work evenings and weekends, as required.
