Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Reception Clerk to join our team at IGA. As a Reception Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk, handling customer inquiries, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the accurate and efficient receipt of products, including items, weight, and quality control.
  • Maintain security standards to prevent theft of merchandise and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Clean and maintain the reception area, including the desk and surrounding space.
  • Operate equipment and supplies safely and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role or retail environment an asset.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
