Job Summary:

EMCO Corporation is seeking a skilled Counter Salesperson to provide exceptional customer service and support at our Profit Centre counters. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized counter area, providing product recommendations, and assisting customers with their purchases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service and support to walk-in customers
  • Maintain a clean and organized counter area, including merchandising displays
  • Research and provide product recommendations to customers
  • Assist customers with their purchases, including entering orders and processing returns
  • Support the Inside Sales and Outside Sales functions as needed

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; College and/or University degree an asset
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with customer service or counter sales
  • Outstanding customer service and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent relationship building skills with customers, vendors, and teammates

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience with or knowledge of plumbing and building products sold at the Profit Centre
  • Ability to use the Internet as a resource to problem solve and find alternative solutions for customers
