The successful candidate will provide occupational therapy services to clients affected by substance use and mental health problems, enabling them to achieve optimal health outcomes. Key responsibilities include participating in an interdisciplinary healthcare team, conducting client assessments, planning and implementing outcome-oriented services, and collaborating on quality improvement initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you must have a current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia and at least two years of recent clinical experience in a complex healthcare environment. You should also possess knowledge of Occupational Therapy theory and practice within a client-centered model of care, as well as evidence-based clinical practice related to designated clinical areas.
