Island Health is seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team as a CT Imaging Specialist. This role requires a strong foundation in radiologic technology and excellent communication skills.
SalaryThe estimated salary for this position is between $75,000 and $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Job DescriptionAs a CT Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Graduation from an approved Radiology Technology program or equivalent education
- CAMRT certification as a Medical Radiation Technologist or Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Eligibility for membership in the CAMRT
- SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF PRIOR LEARNING ASSESSMENT AND RECOGNITION (PLAR) OF CAMRT'S CT IMAGING 1 (CT1) EXAM WITH A MINIMUM MARK OF 75%
You must also possess excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
