Job Summary

About the Role

This is a permanent position that requires a strong work ethic and attention to detail. You will work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be a team player, and have a strong commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule materials, tools, and personnel to ensure efficient project execution
  • Liaise with management, engineers, and other trades to coordinate tasks and resolve issues
  • Prepare tenders and quotations to secure new business
  • Instruct apprentices to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Connect piping systems to water mains, supply tanks, pumps, compressors, and control equipment
  • Install clamps, brackets, and hangers to support piping systems and sprinkler and fire protection equipment
  • Installs valves, alarms, and associated equipment
  • Join pipes and piping sections using soldering and welding equipment
  • Service and repair sprinkler systems
  • Supervise other workers to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently
  • Test systems for leaks using air or liquid pressure equipment
Requirements
  • 5 years or more of experience in the field of employment
  • Sprinkler System Installer Trade Certification
  • Sprinkler System Installer Red Seal Certificate
