About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team at STUDENT CONSTRUCTIONS LTD. As a Cabinetmaker, you will be responsible for shaping and assembling woodworkpieces to create high-quality furniture and fixtures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Woodworking and Assembly: Shape surfaces or edges of wood workpieces, using hand tools, such as planes, chisels, or wood files.
  • Planning and Design: Study plans, specifications or drawings of articles to be made to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Quality Control: Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete units and reinforce joints to ensure a high level of quality.
  • Work Environment: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise other workers and provide guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Cost Estimation: Estimate costs and materials required for projects, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Work Schedule: Work a regular 35-hour week, with a permanent contract.
  • Language: Work in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
