Samosa Joes is seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our team. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and presentation of food, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
  • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
  • Keep records of the quantities of food used.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
