Vernon Restholm is proud of the fact that we were the first senior 'supportive living' residence in Vernon and have offered affordable housing and caring for 48 residents since 1964. We are located right across the street from the Schubert Centre.

Restholm is a non-profit Society and not government subsidised; therefore, revenue comes solely from room rents.

Due to a retirement, we are looking for a person to work at being on call to cover all our positions. Applicant must be very flexible and enjoys working different shifts. We are looking for someone to join us immediately

**Work schedule**: On call to cover holidays and sick days for all our shifts. This coverage position averages out to 2-3 shifts per week over the year.
- Morning Kitchen-aide = 6:45am - 2:45pm
- Housekeeper day = 10am - 6pm
- Evening Kitchen-aide = 3pm -11pm
- Housekeeper night = 11pm - 7:30am

**Brief Summary of the duties**:
Cleaning residents suites and bathrooms.

Doing laundry.

Cleaning of the kitchen and dining room floors.

Setting up dining room for meals.

Prepping food for meals.

Assist serving residents at meals

Cleaning of common areas, including washrooms and showers.

**Rate of pay**:
Starting wage is $18.00 per hour for the 3 month probation period and a possible raise to $19.00 afterwards.

Free meal per shift.

Annual wage and performance reviews.
