About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at L &L Mechanical Ltd. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, as well as performing scheduled maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, and perform repairs as needed.
  • Scheduled Maintenance Services: Perform scheduled maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance tasks.
  • Diagnostic and Repair Services: Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, including engine, transmission, and brake problems.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including communicating with customers about their vehicle's maintenance and repair needs.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs, maintenance, and customer interactions.
Requirements
  • Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the automotive industry, or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications: Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification and Automotive Service Technician Red Seal Certificate.
  • Language: English or French.
Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail. The successful candidate will be able to work in a dusty and noisy environment, and will be required to stand for extended periods.
