Job Summary

L &L Mechanical Ltd is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units, diagnosing faults and malfunctions, and performing repairs and maintenance on vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, and perform repairs and maintenance as needed.
  • Diagnose and Repair Issues: Diagnose and repair issues with automotive systems and components, including engine repair, electrical and electronic systems, diagnostics, and more.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance tasks.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including advising customers on work performed and future repair requirements, and completing reports to record problems and work performed.
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications: Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience, and Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification and Red Seal Certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field of employment.
  • Language: Bilingualism in English and French.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with dusty and noisy conditions.
