Job Title: Manager-Propel

At The Salvation Army, we are committed to providing effective and efficient services to those in need. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager to lead our Anti-Human Trafficking Programs.

Job Summary:

The Manager-Propel will provide leadership and oversight to our Anti-Human Trafficking Programs, ensuring that our services are delivered in a trauma-sensitive and culturally responsive manner. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing program strategies, managing budgets, and supervising a team of staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and oversight to the Anti-Human Trafficking Programs, ensuring that services are delivered in a trauma-sensitive and culturally responsive manner.
  • Develop and implement program strategies, including the development of program plans, budgets, and evaluation frameworks.
  • Manage budgets and resources for multiple departments, including monthly spending, petty cash, and financial forecasting.
  • Supervise a team of staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating employees.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, including government agencies, non-profit organizations, and private sector companies.
  • Provide crisis intervention and basic counseling skills training to staff.
  • Develop and implement staff training and onboarding programs.
  • Monitor and report on program outcomes and evaluation metrics.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in program management, preferably in the human services field.
  • Experience working with adults and youth in an institutional or residential setting.
  • Valid First Aid/CPR certificate.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of program participants and records.
Working Conditions:

The Manager-Propel will work in a fast-paced environment, often dealing with clients in crisis situations. The role will require frequent travel to program sites and community meetings. The Manager-Propel will be required to work independently and as part of a team, and will be expected to maintain confidentiality of program participants and records.
