Site Operations Manager

Job Title: Site Operations Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Site Operations Manager to join our team at Shahi Drywall Contracting Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit production reports to management
- Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure smooth project execution
- Oversee apprenticeship training and development programs
- Recruit and hire workers, and manage related staffing actions
- Estimate costs and materials for projects
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
- Lead and instruct individuals to achieve project goals
Supervision: The Site Operations Manager will be responsible for supervising a team of 3-4 people.
Support for Persons with Disabilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for providing physical accessibility accommodations, such as ramps and elevators, to ensure equal access to our construction sites.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees: We are committed to supporting newcomers and refugees in their transition to Canada. The Site Operations Manager will participate in government or community programs that support this initiative.
