CNC Machinist

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at NOV Inc. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality precision components.
Key Responsibilities:- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
- Operate and maintain CNC machines, including setup and operation of CNC lathes and mills.
- Perform precise measuring and inspection to ensure components meet specifications.
- Set up and operate CNC machines to maximize material usage and equipment efficiency.
- Ensure a safe working environment by following safety protocols and reporting any hazards or incidents.
- Assist with training and development of other employees.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and report any issues to management.
- 3-5 years of experience in CNC machining, preferably with experience on setup and operation of CNC lathes and mills.
- Knowledge of CNC machine controls, including G-Code and Siemens/Heidenhain/OS300 controls.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings.
- Excellent mathematical and numerical comprehension, with ability to use inspection/measurement equipment.
- Experience with machining small batches of precision components within tight tolerances.
The CNC Machinist will work in a shop environment with exposure to noise, fumes, and standing. The position requires the ability to lift up to 35 pounds unassisted.
