Job Summary

Lion's Gate Building Maintenance Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • SUPERVISE AND CO-ORDINATE ACTIVITIES OF WORKERS: Direct and manage a team of cleaners and maintenance staff to ensure efficient completion of tasks.
  • INSPECT SITES OR FACILITIES TO ENSURE SAFETY AND CLEANLINESS STANDARDS: Conduct regular site inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • RECOMMEND OR ARRANGE FOR ADDITIONAL SERVICES REQUIRED: Identify and recommend additional services such as painting, repair work, renovations, or replacement of furnishings and equipment as needed.
  • ASSIST CLEANERS IN PERFORMING DUTIES: Provide guidance and support to cleaning staff to ensure high-quality results.
  • ESTABLISH WORK SCHEDULES: Develop and implement effective work schedules to meet business needs.
Requirements
  • EDUCATION: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • EXPERIENCE: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, and physically demanding duties.
  • PERSONAL SUITABILITY: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Working Conditions

This role involves working at heights, in wet/damp environments, and outdoors. The successful candidate will be required to wear personal protective equipment as necessary.
