We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join our team at Galaxy Freightline Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our accounts receivable department, ensuring timely and accurate processing of customer payments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Development: Provide guidance and training to accounting and related clerks to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports to management, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement in our accounts receivable operations.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of equipment and systems used in the accounts receivable department, including resolving any technical issues that may arise.
  • Problem-Solving and Technical Advice: Provide technical advice and guidance to staff on complex financial transactions and resolve any work-related problems that may occur.
  • Financial Accuracy: Ensure the accuracy of all financial transactions processed by the accounts receivable department.
  • Work Coordination: Coordinate and assign work to staff, review their progress, and provide feedback to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Supply Chain Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support the operations of the accounts receivable department.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be performed on equipment and systems used in the accounts receivable department.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

  • Accounting and Related Clerks: Supervise and provide guidance to accounting and related clerks to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.

  • Hours: 40 hours per week
