Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join our team at Galaxy Freightline Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our accounts receivable department, ensuring timely and accurate processing of customer payments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train and supervise accounting and related clerks to ensure they are equipped to handle their duties effectively.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of equipment and systems, resolving any technical issues that may arise.
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to staff, identifying opportunities to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Verify the accuracy of financial transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate and review work assignments, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Procure and manage materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be carried out, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Establish and maintain work schedules and procedures, ensuring a high level of productivity and efficiency.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
