Health Services Management Officer: Leadership and Resource Expert

As a Health Services Management Officer in the Canadian Armed Forces, you will lead and manage health care services and delivery. This involves applying the principles and practices of healthcare administration, resource management, organization, and operations for the Forces.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and implement strategies to ensure effective management of health care systems
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care in various environments, including operational units and static facilities
- Coordinate schedules, resources, and training to optimize healthcare delivery
- Provide leadership and guidance to teams on overseas missions as platoon commanders
- Leverage business and management skills to manage resources and projects efficiently
Health Services Management Officers work in diverse settings, including operational units, static facilities, regional headquarters, and national training facilities. They may be deployed on international or domestic operations.
Opportunities and ProgressionThis role offers opportunities for advancement to roles at regional or national headquarters, as well as deployment opportunities. If you have a university degree, the CAF will assess its alignment with the job requirements.
