We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Café Manager to join our team at Monaco Cafe. Key Responsibilities- Manage and supervise a team of 16-20 staff members to ensure excellent customer service and high standards of food preparation and presentation.
- Analyze and manage the café's budget to ensure profitability and make recommendations for cost savings and revenue growth.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
- Manage and maintain the café's inventory, including ordering and stocking supplies.
- Ensure the café is clean and well-maintained at all times.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
The Café Manager will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work under pressure. The Café Manager will also be required to work a 35 to 40 hour week.
