Job Summary

Olympic Controls is seeking a skilled Instrument Maintenance Technician to join our team. As an Instrument Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our instruments and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instrument Inspection and Maintenance: Inspect and maintain instruments and systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Repair and Calibration: Repair and calibrate system components and instruments to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Test and Maintenance Reports: Complete test and maintenance reports to document work performed and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Component Replacement: Remove and replace defective parts to ensure optimal instrument performance.
  • Installation and Testing: Install new measuring instruments and perform testing to ensure they are functioning correctly.
  • Scheduled Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work to prevent instrument failure and ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in instrument maintenance or a related field.
  • Certifications: Industrial Instrument Mechanic Trade Certification and Instrumentation and Control Technicians (Red Seal) certification.
  • Transportation: Valid driver's license.
  • Work Conditions: Ability to work under pressure, manual dexterity, attention to detail, and efficient interpersonal skills.
