Job Summary

The Senior Culinary Innovation Manager will play a crucial role in driving product development and culinary innovation at Freshstone Brands Inc. This position requires a strong background in food science, culinary expertise, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to business objectives by leading product culinary development, culinary innovation, recipes formulation, concepts creation, and execution.
  • Evaluate and improve existing product lines to enhance quality and maximize efficiencies.
  • Support formulating analysis, testing new products to meet customer requirements, and build direct relationships with vendors, food service, and private label customers.
  • Follow the Product Development Process, including all documentation procedures.
  • Provide technical information and technical support to cross-functional team members as required.
  • Participate in the evaluation and commissioning of new technology, production lines, and related equipment.
  • Assist, support, and comply with requests and assignments from the VP of Product Development and Culinary Innovation.
  • Embody and support the Freshstone Brands culture and values, acting as a brand ambassador at all times.
  • Deliver routine daily/weekly/monthly reporting and respond to basic and intermediate ad-hoc data requests.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Science or Food Technology or higher.
  • Culinary diploma, culinary education, or commercial kitchen experience is an additional asset.
  • 3-5 years of product development experience, preferably with consumer packaged or food service packaged products.
  • 3-5 years of work experience in food manufacturing.

Salary Estimate: $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
