Thermal Flow Quality Assurance and Development Specialist

We are seeking a motivated detail-oriented co-op student to assist in testing software, developing innovative validation and verification cases, and creating new quality assurance processes for thermal-flow simulation tools and systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct radiation testing on thermal-flow systems and components to ensure performance and compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop comprehensive validation and verification cases for thermal and/or flow analyses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop innovative QA methodologies.
  • Support the design and implementation of new QA processes tailored to the needs of the Thermal Flow team's projects.
  • Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports for internal and client use.

You will be successful in this role if you:

  • Are currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Aerospace Engineering, or related undergraduate program.
  • Have basic knowledge of radiation theory.
  • Familiarity with thermal-flow simulations and analytical tools is beneficial.
  • Experience with simulation and CAD software (Ansys, Simcenter 3D, SolidWorks, etc.) is an asset.
  • Excel in analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Possess strong communication and technical writing abilities.
