Empire Life is seeking a talented Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a vital role in driving business growth and success.

About the Role

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, statements, and surveys to support accurate financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor, review, and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and identify variances.
  • Coordinate transactional investigations with other business units and implement timely adjustments when needed.
  • Assist in the analysis and forecasting of the company's near-term cash flow requirements.
  • Facilitate the month-end close process and month-end analysis for various accounts.

What We're Looking For

  • Nearing completion of a relevant education in accounting, finance, business administration, or math.
  • Strong numerical literacy and ability to work confidently with numbers.
  • Ability to think logically, analyze, and solve problems.
  • Strong attention to detail required.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to collaborate and build relationships.
  • Knowledge of spreadsheet, database, and word processing software.
  • Experience with or the ability to learn new software/applications quickly.
