At Food Factory Inc., we are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping, with a focus on maintaining accurate financial records and preparing financial statements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Calculating and preparing cheques for payroll
  • Maintaining general ledgers and financial statements
  • Posting journal entries
  • Preparing other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Preparing tax returns
  • Preparing trial balance of books
  • Reconciling accounts

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and QuickBooks

This is a permanent position with 35 hours per week. The work language is English.
