Job Title: Early Childhood Educator Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at New Beginnings Early Learning Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. This role involves working in a child care centre, assisting with housekeeping and cooking duties, maintaining daycare equipment, and engaging children in activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist early childhood educators in implementing programs that promote child development
  • Support with housekeeping and cooking duties in the child care centre
  • Maintain daycare equipment and ensure a safe and healthy environment
  • Engage children in activities, such as storytelling, singing, and crafts
  • Assist with preparing snacks and arranging rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Criminal record check
