Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator to join our team at New Beginnings Early Learning Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. This role involves engaging children in activities, guiding and assisting them in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits, and preparing snacks and arranging rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist co-workers in housekeeping and cooking duties
  • Maintain daycare equipment
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records
  • Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts
  • Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Experience an asset
