We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Biologics Territory Manager to join our team at GlaxoSmithKline. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with healthcare professionals and driving business growth in the specialty care market.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, including specialists and allied health professionals, to understand their needs and challenges.
- Business Planning: Develop and implement strategic business plans to deliver value to customers and drive business growth.
- Performance Measurement: Demonstrate measurable progress against business plans, using clearly defined key performance indicators (KPIs) to prove the value returned to the business.
- Sales Execution: Effectively utilize multi-channel selling tools to implement customer-focused initiatives and deliver value to customers.
- Expertise Development: Become an acknowledged expert in the business by fully understanding the healthcare environment, including customers, products, competitive set, regulatory, and reimbursement.
- Customer Support: Assess customer needs and uncover potential barriers related to patient support programs, working with the team and vendors to develop recommendations for improvement.
- Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
- Experience: Proven track record of at least 3-5 years sales experience.
- Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally.
- Communication Skills: Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Specialty Pharmaceutical Experience: Previous specialty pharmaceutical sales experience with biologics or rare disease is preferred.
- Customer Focus: Strong customer/patient focus.
- Drive and Business Relationships: High level of drive and proven ability to build strong business relationships, including gaining and maintaining access to customers.
- Network Development: Proven ability to leverage a network of specialists and allied healthcare professionals.
- Disease/Product Knowledge: Strong learning agility to build a high level of disease/product knowledge and ability to interpret scientific research studies.
- Business Opportunities: Proven track record to proactively identify strategic business opportunities and propose solutions to provide value and drive business growth.
- Business Planning and ROI Analysis: Strong business planning and ROI analysis skills.
- Project Management: Solid project manager, including the ability to implement, monitor, and review projects.
- Business Integrity and Ethics: High level of business integrity and ethics.
- Travel: Travel is required.
