Job Title: Technical Expert, Cabinet Completion Integration
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Expert to join our team at Bombardier Transportation GmbH. As a Technical Expert, you will be responsible for leading the integration of meubles into our aircraft, ensuring that all technical requirements are met and that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical integration of meubles into our aircraft, working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure that all technical requirements are met.
- Develop and implement technical strategies for new meubles, ensuring that they meet our quality and safety standards.
- Chair the Engineering Control Change Board (ECCB) for RFC/RFQ/P&OIAS and PCR technical approval, ensuring that all changes are properly documented and approved.
- Work with suppliers to resolve technical issues and ensure that all meubles meet our quality and safety standards.
- Lead technical meetings with suppliers and internal stakeholders, ensuring that all technical requirements are met and that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including Interface Control Drawings (ICD) and other technical documents.
- Ensure that all system components meet technical and certification requirements, and that all regulatory and industry requirements are met.
- Act as a technical reference and transfer knowledge through coaching and mentoring within your team.
Requirements:
- College or University degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent.
- More than 15 years of relevant experience in technical roles, preferably in the aerospace industry.
- Detailed technical experience in Challengers and Globals business aircraft interiors, including knowledge of multiple Interior Meubles.
- Experience working with Enovia/Catia and Teamcenter/NX (GSD, Assy, Part Body, Drafting, etc.).
- Expertise in product structure and aircraft certification.
- Problem-solving skills for complex engineering issues.
- Well-organized and project-oriented, with excellent communication skills, including good English writing skills and good English and French verbal skills.
- Self-motivated and a team player, able to work under pressure and with a minimum of supervision.
