Job Title: Strategic Project Director

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year

Job Description

As a Senior Project Manager at Kelson, you will be responsible for leading complex projects across the GTA. You will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from pre-construction to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage project teams, including coordination of site personnel, labor, equipment, materials, and safety protocols;
  • Analyze and interpret project documentation, drawings, design specifications, and client requirements;
  • Liaise with clients, owners, consultants, contractors, and management to ensure effective communication and issue resolution;
  • Manage project schedules, budget, and performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions;
  • Coordinate and review monthly billings and contract changes;
  • Provide leadership and coaching to team members, driving innovation and promoting corporate policies and procedures;

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience;
  • A minimum of six (6) years' experience in progressively senior level projects, preferably in large-scale, complex construction environments;
  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with expertise in relevant construction industry laws and building codes;
  • Strong project management skills, including organizational, documentation, and technology-based environments;
  • Self-directed, proactive approach, with bias for action and decision-making; Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong computer skills, including project management software, Microsoft Office suite, and in-house systems;
