Job Overview:
MEDISON Pharma Canada is seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison to join their team. As a Medical Science Liaison, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders in healthcare, academic, and professional associations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with KOLs to ensure scientific standards are met.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between healthcare practitioners and Medison Medical Affairs.
- Develop and execute KOL engagement plans to meet objectives in a timely and compliant manner.
- Provide expert-level support for medical materials, including scientific/medical presentations, medical education material, and commercial slide decks.
- Deliver engaging presentations of clinical and disease state information to various audiences.
- Serve as a scientific resource at key medical, scientific, and patient advocacy conferences as assigned.
- Provide medical support to Medison's partner clinical research programs, registries, and investigator-sponsored research as required.
- Communicate medical insights from healthcare practitioners to inform and refine medical strategy and tactics.
- Stay current on pharmaceutical guidelines, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements:
- Advanced scientific or clinical degree (PharmD, MD, PhD) is required.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Medical Science Liaison.
- Strong knowledge of the Canadian healthcare system.
- Experience working in Rare Disease area is an asset.
- Able to travel 40% of the time, including overnight travel and occasional weekend travel.
