Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook Canadian seafood dishes with precision and care.
  • Maintain impeccable kitchen sanitation standards to ensure a safe and hygienic work environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with the team on product ordering, inventory management, and cost control measures.
  • Ensure that all food quality and presentation meet the highest standards of excellence.
  • Contribute to menu development by sharing culinary ideas and expertise.
  • Assist in supply ordering and monitor costs to optimize efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen management team.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years of culinary experience, with a strong emphasis on seafood preparation.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and maintain organization in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
  • A genuine passion for cooking and a comprehensive understanding of culinary techniques.
  • Food Safe certification is preferred.
