BuildCo Contracting Ltd. is a leading provider of construction services, and we are currently seeking an experienced Cement Finisher Foreman/Woman to join our team.

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and organized individual to oversee the cement finishing process on our construction sites. As a Cement Finisher Foreman/Woman, you will be responsible for supervising a team of workers, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of cement finishers to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Develop and implement plans to meet project deadlines and budgets.
  • Maintain high standards of quality control and safety on site.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a team of skilled cement finishers.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying potential issues and implementing solutions.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including operations and engineering, to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in cement finishing or a related field.
  • Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Ability to work outdoors in noisy and hazardous environments.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced construction environment, with frequent travel to project sites. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, you will receive comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a pension plan and paid time off.
