Job Summary
We are seeking a Production Line Specialist to join our team at our Clarke Road facility. As a Production Line Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment, ensuring high-quality products, and meeting production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain production equipment, including automatic and semi-automatic filling and packaging machines
- Assist in routine equipment maintenance and changeovers
- Perform sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and safe working environment
- Assist in generating and tracking production statistics
- Maintain quality standards by performing quality checks
- Troubleshoot packaging equipment components
- Work safely and follow all in-place policies and procedures
Requirements
- OSSD diploma or equivalent and successful passing of basic qualification testing
- Ability to safely perform physical work, including pushing, pulling, and lifting to 50lbs repetitively
- Ability to work overtime and in a fast-paced environment
- Possess strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately complete paperwork and data input in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant mechanical experience, experience with operating automatic and semi-automatic filling and packaging equipment, and SAP knowledge would be considered an asset
