Job Overview:

At Alberta Health Services, we are seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in the Camrose Addiction & Mental Health Clinic. As a key member of our team, you will provide evidence-informed and best practices in crisis intervention, assessment, consultation, referral, case management, and treatment to individuals experiencing significant mental health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use a variety of treatment modalities (individual, family, and group) to address mental health needs in adults.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide comprehensive care and support services.
  • Develop and implement effective case management plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing education and training.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work (clinical specialization), Occupational Therapy, or Nursing (with relevant training and experience).
  • Active registration with the applicable Alberta regulatory college.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in community mental health and rural settings.
  • Knowledge of brief therapy and other clinical modalities.
