Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to fill the role of Regional Controller. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the full cycle accounting process and preparing financial statements and management reporting for the region's entities.

About the Role
The successful candidate will have a strong technical accounting background, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also possess a CPA designation and have experience in real estate, construction, or land development.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead the full cycle accounting process and prepare financial statements and management reporting for the region's entities
* Prepare regional budgets, strategic plans, and cost estimates
* Interpret and review financial and operational results with the Regional Vice President and report on variances
* Co-ordinate, advise on, and review legal documentation with respect to asset sales/transfers, financing agreements, etc.
* Ensure that accurate and timely records are maintained that conform to ASPE
