Job Summary

AltaGas - Marketing Analyst

The Marketing Analyst supports internal stakeholders to maintain and enhance communication of information between departments. This position is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate data entry capture in our Electronic Trading & Risk Management system, Allegro, while supporting business initiatives for reliable product P&L, inventory and risk reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Submit deals in Allegro
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address processes and policies
  • Provide data analysis for business insights
  • Support accounting function efforts to capture accurate financial data
  • Support business line reporting accuracy
  • Support process improvement for data capture, system outputs, and contract verification and settlement
  • Provide product inventory management and equity production forecasting updates to accurately measure hedging exposure
  • Support business teams with analytics based on Allegro and other data sources
  • Interface and collaborate with various internal AltaGas groups

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 3+ Years commercial operations experience with a focus on NGL, Condensate, Crude Oil and LPG markets
  • Advanced skills in Power Bi, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Skills in ETRM systems (knowledge of Allegro considered an asset)
  • Ability and aptitude to excel in an unstructured work environment
  • Demonstrates strong intellectual curiosity; self-motivated to deliver exceptional results; and a focus on maximizing team performance
