Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal functioning of our buildings, including making adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and within budget.
- Perform minor repairs on appliances and equipment, using your technical skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
- Conduct safety and security checks to identify potential hazards and take corrective action to prevent accidents.
- Perform other routine maintenance jobs, such as painting and drywall repair, to maintain the appearance and integrity of our buildings.
- Work with minimal supervision, using your initiative and problem-solving skills to complete tasks independently.
- Order supplies and maintain inventory, ensuring that all necessary materials are available to complete tasks efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespersons as needed, providing support and expertise to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Bending, crouching, kneeling are required for this role, as you will be working in a variety of environments and positions.
- Reliability is essential for this role, as you will be working independently and making decisions that impact the smooth operation of our buildings.
- Work Term: Permanent - We offer a stable and secure work environment, with opportunities for career growth and development.
- Work Language: English - We communicate primarily in English, and proficiency in this language is required for this role.
- Hours: 35 hours per week - We offer a standard full-time schedule, with opportunities for overtime as needed.
