We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Analyst to join our team at ATCO. As a Credit Risk Analyst, you will play a critical role in identifying, quantifying, monitoring, mitigating, and controlling prevailing credit risks and liquidity risks across all of our business units.
Key Responsibilities- Credit Risk Adjudication: Participate in the effective identification and quantification of credit risks, and provide recommendations on credit limits and internal credit ratings.
- Collateral and Security Management: Manage changes in financial assurances, including guarantees, letters of credit, and cash deposits.
- Routine and Ad Hoc Reporting: Perform daily reporting and reconciliation activities, including validation of margin calls and coordination of financial assurances.
- Credit Exposures Monitoring: Monitor credit exposures against approved limits and escalate breaches with recommendations for risk mitigation.
- Networking and Relationship Building: Network with external customers and credit colleagues to build relationships and understand best practices in the credit industry.
- Reporting and Liaison: Perform reporting functions of the department, including daily, weekly, or monthly reports and credit committee reports, and liaison with business units on report information.
- Education: Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Experience: Minimum 1-3 years' experience in analysis, preferably in finance.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to efficiently process time-sensitive requests, strong attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
